Was a novice in 1957 in Florida, KN4KQR. Was KN4KQR/KH6 then KH6COJ 
(tech) for about a year. On move back to the states visited A6USA? 
the MARS station in San Francisco and watched their TTY running for a 
few hours and I was hooked. Moved to Md changed to a 3 call for 
another year or so and then moved to Al and got my old call back 
(advanced). Had a second class with a radar endorsement somewhere in 
there for absolutely no reason at all. First teletype was a military 
TG-7 in two wood shipping cases from a surplus store in Ca for $75 
plus shipping in the 1960s. Have 8 machines now. Obviously it is a sickness.
