Those  CW & Brass Pounders......I suspect their constant decoding of the 
clunking sounders and BFO tones may well keep them from the dreaded 
Alzheimers.

I note that there's been discussion about mental exercise is a major 
impediment to that malady.  Mental acuity is supposed to have a big effect 
on the brain.  I know for me to get to 20 WPM, my brain is steaming...and 
then only for short bursts.

The Jay Leno skit where he gave a text to two kids with texting cell fones 
and two "senior" hams using CW sending at the same time....CW speed wiped 
their clocks....hilarious.
