Gil,

Model 33 and 35 equipment was never green and always gray.
Depending on the customer they were either Olive Gray HF or Light Gray  
HB

Model 28 equipment could be purchased in just about any color.
Standard for Bell was Medium Green GA  Several customers wanted Beige  
which remained that color for only a short time and became an awful  
brownish pink.
We had a specially painted 28 ASK at the Massey-Fergason Tractor  
company that was painted to match their red tractors.  UGLY.
A few hospitals had white Teletype machines.  Somewhere (most likely  
at the museum) is a practice with all of the color codes provided by  
TTY Corp.
The practice is not worth much as there is only a description of the  
color and no samples.

I have good samples here of GA, HF, and HB.  HB is the Navy and late  
USAF color.

I can provide a sample of each of these colors for your website.  I  
will approach this by photographing the colors, processing them and  
printing on paper and matching the paper to the part.
Hopefully this way I can make the best match possible.  If the final  
prints match the cabinets I could mail the prints to you.  This will  
take a few days to accomplish.

 From 1947 through 1959 most USAF cabinets were wrinkle black.

The original Bell medium green (GA) was wrinkle but near the end of  
production the finish was only slightly dimpled.

The strip printer cabinet at the museum was powder coated in black  
wrinkle for the PBS NOVA special "Secrets, Lies, and Atomic Spies."
I think that is the best way to finish a cabinet but it can be  
expensive.
