Derek,

1 inch tape is for ASCII machines.  I have two ASCII machines.  A  
model 35 and a model 37, both ASRs

I would like to get that tape if it is oiled.  Some non-Teletype  
machines used non-oiled 1 inch tape.

All you have to do is smell the paper. If it is oiled you will smell it.

If you put a graphic novel or a pocket book in the box you can send it  
Media Mail for sure.  The only requirement is that the book cannot  
have any advertising in it.

Our postmaster says that Teletype paper TAPE is MEDIA just like  
floppies and CD-ROMs but I do not know if all postmasters agree with  
this.

Teletype printer paper is not considered Media unless the book is  
enclosed.

If you ship to anyone here in northern illinois you must insure the  
package as Media Mail and Parcel Post
go through the Forest Park USPS facility.  They are infamous for  
losing packages that are not insured.
