[GreenKeys] question on running open

I gotta basic question.  I have a 28 KSR and a 28 ASR. When the KSR runs
open, the print head stays put. When the ASR runs open, the print head
advances as if someone is repeating a space. I would be interested in
having it stay put if it's a very easy change. Reason is that it also
has the auto cr/lf and sometimes I waste paper not knowingly.

Is this easy? Should I not care?
