I believe that was the paper platin that melted all over your machine's
front end. It takes a lot of effort to remove all that goo. I think I used
paint thinner for some of the areas....don't remember for sure.
All the pinouts are the same as the 74B machine which I think is on the
internet...try to Google the 74B for info.
The "A" platin in my machine was replaced with a very heavy duty length of
shrink tubing. It worked fine. But, there are still some residual problems
with the "poking" of the rods that were coated with goo. Someday, I'll find
the energy / interest to finish the job....
