[GreenKeys] off-topic -- crystal radio

I would guess that a tank circuit and no antenna (very loose coupling!)
would still just receive the 50KW
By the way I very proud to put the new CK722 to use as an audio amp on my
crystal receiver.

There's a good discussion of a coil here:
http://www.techlib.com/electronics/crystal.html
When I was a kid, I lived about 3 miles from a max power AM station
on 1500 KHz. No matter what tuning arrangement I used-- however much
effort I put into coils, caps and all the care in the world-- that's
the only station I could ever receive. No matter where or how I tuned it.
If you are close enough to a transmitter, my guess is that you can be
pretty loose with the LC front-end and you will still receive something.
