Some codes from an old errata sheet applying to many different machines

Multiple Reperforator MRPE

Non-Typing Selector (Model 14)  I haven't seen one of these but can
    guess from the name that it is a Model 14 printer with the type
    bars and tape handling removed, used to activate switch contacts
    mounted over the pull bars.  This would be a forerunner of the SOTUS.

Regenerator Unit & Panel (RED)  There is a picture of this unit in the
    1938 edition of Principles of Electricity...the AT&T "Green Book"

Multiplex Extensor Unit (AME)  An electromechanical time-division
    multiplex was in the Teletype product line until the late 1930s.
    This would be a device to connect a multiplex channel with a
    start-stop line
