Les and others,

I'll tip my hat to Les on this one, and take his word for it that the
F to SMA adapter should not exist. He being a practicing RF
communication systems engineer and all that.

Last time I was at Joel's place, he did not have one adapter: the Type
C to BNC that would be handy on the rear of my Rhode and Schwartz
EK-07. He might have been able to get them from Trompeter, but only
at some $50 each or some such. But he did have a workaround that is
working just FINE after a little effort on my part.

(Teletype content):
Also, he did not have the correct connector for the MITE teleprinter,
though of course he did recognize the connector family. Some beastly
Cannon thing never seen these last few decades. The solution to that
dilemma is to sell the MITE to someone who wants it.. HAH!

GREAT! Of course, Joel *could* send the needed connector properly
mounted to any length of monster armored coax cable you need. They
are always busy making up special cables to order for commercial
outfits and "those government agencies".

Oh, and I almost forgot: the only known-to-exist batch of the real,
genuine, correct cable for the Collins S-line power supplies is at
Joel's. Something about a single source, special order from Belden
with a minimum batch size of some thousands of feet. Check with them
on progress in making up replacement power supply cables complete with
the needed 11-pin 'octal' connector.
