Don't you remember the old Model 12 Teletype machines? They had a 
separate motor unit for the keyboard and one for receiving. As far as I 
can remember, this looks like the unit out of the keyboard. With the 
governed motor and all this should be worth about what you could get 
for scrap iron. That was up to 12 cents a pound this summer but is way 
less now.  Forget about the Alexander Graham Bell part, although I 
think Bell system did use some tty machines. I think I recall model 
26's with a Bell system tag on them.
