We have experienced a distressing loss of signal on all four of the former KMI antennas (two rhombics and two omnis) that we were using at KSM.  While we still have other antennas to receive on we feel that the implications of this outage are serious enough to require a strike team composed of both the transmitting staff and the operations staff to diagnose the problem.  Thus there will be no one available to man KSM and K6KPH on Saturday, 11/8.  We will all be "out standing in our field" trying to find the source of the disruption.  We apologize for the interruption in service and hope to be back to normal by next Saturday.
