Hey Randy:

I looked at Qdig -- a few minutes later it was running for me!  Wow 
-- that almost never happens!

Captions are stored in a different subdirectory, but sheesh this was 
easy to do.

Take a peek now at:
http://www.baudot.net/gil/misc/

That's pretty much what I was looking for.  Now I need to play with 
some of the config stuff to fine-tune it, but it is just dandy as it 
comes out of the box (big grin).
