Thanks to Bill and Jack for your help on the ST-6.  I tried reversing leads, 
no good.  However it is sold, amazingly to a local ham that I know.  He didnt 
realize it was me and vice-versa.  Anyway, thanks to all for your advice.  
Maybe the ST-6 just doesnt like the Telex circuitry.  
 
The CRI-200 works very well to fine tune the RTTY signal as soon as I got the 
hang of what to look for.  
 
Thanks again to all.  The ST-6 went for $40 just for your info.
