[GreenKeys] VISTA (for Don Merz)

At the time I looked (2 years ago), the SW licenses could not be moved. A
number of the plug-ins and tools I use did not have Mac versions either. But
that's all water long over the dam. I made my decision and I have no plans
to make a switch.

The answer to your question is: Tigerdirect.com. You have to have good
judgment because they also sell junk. And most of the time, their prices are
no better than ordinary. But if you get on their mailing list, they will
tempt you to spend some money with good deals 2 or 3 times a year.

Don,

You could run your Windows Photoshop on any Intel Mac as long as you have a
valid Windows XP SP2 installer CD and serial number.

For only $40 extra, you can run Windows and Mac programs 'side by side' in
the Mac operating system.

While Apple does not make cheapola quality stuff, you can pick up excellent
quality refurbished equipment at Apple.com - I've bought my last three
(refurbished) Macs there. Got a $1200 laptop for $900 (for example).

Right now, you could buy a refurbished 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with a
20-inch LCD display, 1GB RAM, 250GB SATA HD, 8x dual layer DVD burner,
bluetooth, gigabit ethernet, USB2, Firewire, 802.11n wireless and built-in
webcam for $950.

Oh, and free shipping! Now, I don't know where you're getting the same thing
for $200 ("$700 higher cost" than this) but please tell me where, so we both
can get one!

This will, by the way, run XP like a bat out of hell. Macs have come a long
way, baby!
