Hi Don:

Actually, I found the manual, found the location of themain clutch,
which is hidden inside a gear. A bit of oil oozed inthere and it seems
just fine now!

This machine is now in verynice shape mechanically, and is wrapped in a
new-old-stock blackcrinkle case (thanks Jack!), with a pristine new
glass window.

AllI need now is the copy-holder that screws on the front -- anyone
haveone (any color, since black crinkle should be easy to match)?

thanks for your help guys,

gil

The sending distributor may need cleaning and lubrication, possibly
adjustment.

Hi folks:

Thanks to all who helped me get ready yesterday -- my cub scouts had a
lot of fun using the M15, M14 reperf, and 28TD. The got to take home
some printouts and chadless tapes.

I have a question on the M14 reperf: it seems to type just fine when
I send full-speed data to it from the computer, but when typing from
the keyboard, the type bars seem very sluggish, sometimes striking the
paper and sometimes barely moving at all. Any ideas on why it would
work fine at full-speed but not with individual key presses?

thanks,

gil
