Well he did send an unsubscribe message to me -- I didn't just knock him 
off the list -- I wouldn't do that unless something was definitely spam.

I have to approve new subscriptions.  Usually , they are obviously real 
greenkeys folk, often with call-signs in their email addresses.  I approve 
all subscription requests unless it is obviously a spammer (I see things 
like getbiggernow at hotmail.com and 
akstcalkalizetodaymnsdgs at alkalizetoday.com) -- these I simply reject.

If an email address is somewhere in between, I cautiously allow the 
subscription, hoping I don't have spam dumping to the list shortly 
thereafter.  If it does, I can kill the subscription quickly.  Don't think 
we have ever had this happen, but I may inadvertently subscribe an 
innocent-sounding email address someday, and find spam dumping after that.

It was in Russian eh?  I just saw odd characters here.  I've gotten some 
nice nixie and vfd tubes from Russia lately.
