Hey, Lar

As far as I remember, there were only two types of motors used in the 14/15/19 models. The sparky ones and the non-sparky ones! Seriously, the ones with brushes where a universal ac 50/60 cycle motor that had to be synchronized with a tuning fork, they have a governing attachment on the back, with an alternating black and white strobe markings. The other motor, the one I prefer, is a Hysteresis Synchronous motor for 60 Cycle operation. I know the ones in a M14 TD are Identical, and there is usually a few on ebay cheap, good source for a spare!
Best of luck
Just Bob!
