[GreenKeys] the 28 "kit" project...

This weekend hopefully will see a major advance in the progress of "the
kit". Weeknights - I've not had much time to spend - so it's been slow
going. One of the major "events" on the agenda for this weekend is
pulling the main shaft from the automatic typer, installing the driven
(input) gear and keyboard drive gear. I already have pulled the one from
my parts donor (and boy was making that a parts donor the right
decision! - many, many missing parts, bearings locked up, etc.)... but
that one is laid-out quite a bit different in several places - I already
know pulling the one from the modern unit will have similar but
different "challenges"...

Anyone have any "Pearls of Wisdom" about pulling the main shaft? Such
as dealing with the selector cam assembly (tie-back all followers - or
leave the cam assembly in place and carefully swing the shaft down and
then slide right until clear of the cam assy.)? Remove the securing
screws from the spacing clutch assy. and slide it to the right to miss
the spacing pinion - or remove the pinion (and/or entire spacing
shaft/cam assy.)?

Any and all hints / kinks / tricks / "why didn't I think of that" are
welcome!

And again - thanks for so many emails of encouragement and advice - they
are *all* truly appreciated!!!
