Yahoogroups is set up such that both Reply and Reply All goes to the list.
If you want to send a private reply to the poster, you have to manually copy
and paste (a real PITA and to people used to the normal list performance
sometimes a source of embarassment). The original Boatanchors list (still running
after all these years at ThePorch.com) is set up normally. Reply goes to
poster. Reply All goes to poster and list. All of the many properly set up lists
on QTH.net follow this procedure. The improperly set up ones send to the list
with Reply and to the list and the original poster with Reply All. The really
improperly setup ones, like MRCA, follow the stupid Yahoogroups scheme,
except without the spam Yahoogroups includes. They send only to the list.
It has absolutely nothing to do with AOL.
