Hey guy's, as politically incorrect as this may seem,
Has anyone tried, whale oil, or it's synthetic replacement?

I was into watch and clock collecting for a while, and Whale
Oil was the primary lubricant. The reason being it has several
unique properties, that might help in the TTY arena.

It has a pretty good temperature coefficient, doesn't
"dry up", and instead of spreading out like regular lubricants,
it tends to pool around the surface needing lubrication!

The only time it needs attention, is when it has attracted too
many dust particles or filings, then needs to be wiped off and re-oiled.

Didn't want to offend the Whale Watchers on the list, but oil that
stays where you put it, organic or synthetic, can't be all bad!

Just Bob!...Just mad about the fact that this list is being censored
for the truth, because a few, just want to attack people. In
my opinion, they should be taken of the list, until they can play
nice with others. What I see is the killing of the messenger,
rather than the chastisement of those who espouse hate!

And Gil, if this is too much criticism, please take "ME" off the list,

I don't want to be on a list I can't add value to!

Just be sure they are the all black ones (Cotton, not
Mylar for the youngsters). The two color ones tend to
turn "bled"
