Glad you were smart enough to pay attentions to the signs.  I went  
through a similar mild heart attack in 2002.
However, it was due to stress as I had no physical problems with my  
veins and arteries.   I had to go to a stress therapist for 6 months.
I decided my job was not worth dying for.

On Tuesday May 27th I started having chest pains that I just took as
indigestion.  On Wednesday May 28th I was admitted to Ball Memorial
Hospital with what turned out to be a "mild" heart attack.

On that Friday May 30th I had an angiogram where they found that I had
one coronary artery blocked 100%.  They were able to remove the
blockage and insert a stent to help insure that the blockage does not
return.  The blockage was not old enough to have caused any major
tissue damage to the portion of the heart that artery supplied blood
to.

I was released on Saturday and I am feeling fine.  I have not been
released back to work yet but I have also not seen the doctor, that
comes this week.  I am not allowed to drive for 2 weeks but you all
know how well I listen to advice.  I am taking an over abundance of
pills (in my estimation) to help ensure that this does not happen
again.

Again, I am home, feeling fine and am going to start being bored here
in short order.
