The here is mechanism is not much good without the tines to code it.

Very sad to see Jack getting rid of so much of the stuff he enjoyed.

Been there, done that, was sent into exile.

I would love to have another 28, but you are too far from the Atlanta

That "Here is" would be sweet!

Hello Greenkeyers,

Due to a change in future plans due to a sudden lack of employment
(!), I am
going to start to thin out the TTY collection. The house has been up for
sale with plans for a relocation to the Boston area...it now looks like
we'll be heading towards New York City instead. Of course, this isn't
the
greatest time to sell a house...
Downsizing has arrived.

I have listed a bunch of stuff on Ebay
already and want all my Greenkeys friends to know that anything they see
they might be interested in can be had for a 25% discount. As most of
you
know, I would normally give the stuff away to a good home, but I need to
bring in a few bucks. I will be putting some other stuff on Ebay soon.

I have several other pieces that are available directly to this list,
and
they are all free to a good home (I'd really do not want to get
involved in
shipping some of this stuff).

Free:

Model 28KSR with HERE IS mechanism (no programming "tines") Model
28KSR with
three-speed shift (nylon version) Model 28RO Model 28RT set with tape
reel
stand and 200WPM (150 baud)reperf and the three-speed LAXD TD...the
reperf
can be changed to a 100 wpm model easily (I don't have one that fits).
Miscellaneous 28 typing units
Miscellaneous 28 LPR reperf typing units, all with mechanical tape
feed-out
mechanisms.

I have a the Model 28 "Compact" UGC-77 with the three-speed shift and
the
"Tempest" keyboard that I will let go for $100, plus shipping. It runs
fine,
as does all of my equipment. It is HEAVY for such a cute little thing!

Don't worry, I'm keeping some of my more-cherished stuff...you'll have
to
wait for the estate sale for that gear! (However, my family has always
had
plans to bury me in a 40 yard dumpster...you can take it with you, I
guess.)

As Joe Walsh, WB6ACU, says, "Life's been good to me, so far..."

73 to all,
Jack WA2HWJ
