Jim Rice Swanberg is an expert on reworking the re-inkers to work on
various machines.
Using your same technique (like the men on the moon) but not quite as
drastic,
will also allow the KL Re-inker to work on the M14 Typing Reperforator.

Ok greenkeyers,
The re-ink kits that Don's has will go on a m15 with little work. I
have it
installed and inking away.
The mount in the kit just had to be flattened. The was easy and fun.
Just
get big hammer and take it to you anvil and bang some metal! All you
want
to to is flatten the little twist in the mount. Take this to your type
unit
and mark to drill two holes to line up with the mounting bolts on the
side
of the carriage just under the right side ribbon spool. after this is
mounted you will need to cut out a small section of the surround of the
ribbon spooler.
IT has been running and inking now for about 10 hours. looks like it was
made for it.
I will get some photos after it has run a bit and I clean it up for
the show
off.
Now the model 28 is going to be a bit more of a challenge. Not sure
about
what I will do with it. The moving spooler or rather the "shaking"
spooler
is going to be fun.
