Gary,

I knew I couldn't be alone in the world! Like you, I haven't the faintest
idea why anyone would want to interfere with the sound of an operating
teletype machine! I bet you don't have any credit card bills and don't
make any payments, either.

Anybody have a need for a Burroughs reperf transmitter teletypewriter? It's
Army type TT-75A/66C and most of it is there (the parts missing are a couple

of knobs and a switch).

It was nice to see the 19 get purchased on eBay....the 26 also.

I hope someone on greenkeys got 'em. Nice looking machines...both of 'em.

What does it look like??? How big (& heavy) is it?? Where is it??

The Antique Wireless Assoc Museum in Bloomfield, NY (near Rochester) is
always interested in old (& unique) equipment.

Tom,

Thanks for your two cents (worth much more than that!)

There is a review of the Model 150 in the Western Union Technical Review of
Apr. 1955, p. 77
http://massis.lcs.mit.edu/telecom-archives/archives/technical/western-union-
tech-review/09-2/p077.htm

The article also mentions a Model 155 that was a stripped-down version of
the M150.

Have Fun,

Guys, Only a very small number of Kleinschmidt Machines were sold in the
Civilian world. The government owned most of the machinery and the
contractual requirements limited non-military sales.

If my memory serves the TT-76 is a Kleinschmidt civilian model 120. The
TT-98 / 100 et all are model 150 family - Saw one called a model 152 on the
same platform. Since it was based on a model 15 and ran at 100 WPM perhaps
150 was a testament to its predecessor. The TT-4 is a model 100.

Just my $0.02
