Hi:

Those 3-headed transmitters were probably made under license.

It was common for some years for Teletype Corp equipment to be
made under license by other countries.

A similar example might be the Model 15 teletype made under
license by Lorenz (Germany) as their LO-15, or with tape gear
added (LO-15C)..

I was in the US Army in the 60s-80s, and in those days, we had
an assortment of teletype equipment everywhere, including Model 19s,
LO-15s, Siemens T-100s and of course, Kleinschmidt equipment,
along with some other odds n ends. All was replaced by Kleinschmidt
in Germany when US Forces were forced to leave France (1966), so
we inherited all of that equipment, which replaced all of the German
gear.

An assignement with the Turkish Army in the 70s revealed Olivetti
and Creed equipment in their field operations commcenter.
