The radio station at the college I attended (Susquehanna Univ, Selinsgrove, 
PA, WQSU-FM) in 1986 still had a Model 15 banging out one of the news 
wires.  I wasn't a media major so never had reason to be in the radio 
station, but once in my senior year I had to take something for some reason 
to one of the media prof's office which was in the radio station area of 
the student center.  It was kind of a rabbit warren layout, and was 
actually the old computer center.  On my way back to the exit I heard this 
familiar klunk-klunka-klunk-klunk, though at the time I wasn't terribly 
familiar with Teletype gear yet -- I was only licensed two years at that 
point.  My "elmer" in ham radio had a Model 19 that I had heard run before 
so I knew the sound of a 15/19.  Anyway, I followed the noise and tucked in 
around a corner at the end of the one long hallway was this well-worn 
looking Model 15 RO clattering away with current news spewing forth from 
same.  It seemed kind of out of place with the reasonably current radio 
station that at the time had just moved into the student center quarters 
from an old university-owned house, but I still thought it was pretty cool.
