Hi list, 

am taking on another project and need to make some space.  My spare NATO teleprinter station for the Unimog 404 (the other set is mounted in my truck) has provided standby units during my mobile operations over the last few years, but is now surplus to requirements.  Am therefore putting the spare set up for sale, and hope you do not mind me including a description below.

`NATO Teleprinter Station radio fit (for the Unimog 404 light truck - in service circa 1960`s –1980`s) – perfect for truck restoration / setting-up a fixed teleprinter station.   Complete, including : Rohde & Schwarz SK010 transmitter (AM, CW & RTTY), correct microphone, Junkers Morse key, Siemens E309 Receiver, correct headphones, Siemens FSE1300 RTTY encoder/decoder, Siemens T100 teleprinter, remote junction box, full wiring loom (cut near the radio, so easy reconnect), switches and relays, coil for whip antenna operation, extension cables for working on transmitter modules+ numerous bits and pieces of mounting hardware from the truck.  Can provide copies of all manuals / circuits at cost.`

This has been my `spare` set and, several of the units have been used occasionally to supplement my working station, when I did not have time to stop for maintenance.  Currently, the transmitter is non operational (fires-up but requires some further work) and the teleprinter need some attention (cleaning / oiling) – but does function.  Priced £500.   This is heavy metal so postage is unlikely to be cheap !.
