The best ink to use on a ribbon is, of course, ribbon ink. Available as Wayne Durkee and I have mentioned many many times on this list from Computer Friends. WD-40 works pretty well on New Old Stock Ribbons. Ribbons that have run dry need to be re-inked with a re-inker. Don K9TTY
