When it comes to 32 and 33's, I have a confession to make.  I dont dip or 
soak.  I blow them out with compressed air after disassembling them to sub 
assembly level.  Kybd, tape reader, printer, tray and call control unit.  Then if I 
find congealed grease or sticking parts, I use Breakaway, it smells bad, but 
goes away in few days.  Then lots and lots of wiping and cleaning of contacts, 
distributor, typewheel and many other areas.  Lube and more wiping after 
running, mostly on the printer.  Clean the tray and cover with 409 and wipe with 
damp cloth after.  Of course lots of small parts replacement and checking of 
areas of proper adjustments etc.  (Dont want to give all my secrets away)
 
Made 2 RTTY contacts last weekend with the old 32!!!
