What Teletype equipment used 1/2 inch wide tape?  I know pen recorders  
used that width but did Tickers use it also?

a story to the effect that some Western Union employee won a large
suggestion award for suggesting they narrow the paper by 1/16 inch,
and that saved them a lot of money every year because of the immense
amount of tape they used.  Considering the cost of parts to make the
change to every machine it's hard to imagine how they saved much.
