I, too don't like the idea of washing junk with my dishes, even though
I'm told over and over again how great a dishwasher is for cleaning
parts!

So, my idea: Once I have a space for it cleared (this may take a
while) in the yar-, er, outdoor laboratory, I'm going to place a
want-add on Craigslist offering to haul away a dishwasher for
somebody. That way, the nice one keeps the dishes clean, and the one
in the yard will wash whatever the heck I can fit in it!  Not too hard
to hook a dishwasher up in a "temporary" arrangement.
