[GreenKeys] Latest equipment here...

Our first snow is falling and I just was able to get the latest
Teletype equipment down in the basement.

During the arctic winter we have here I am going to try to get a
couple of these beasts working.

My first effort will be to clean and lubricate a nice Model 20 RO that
was in use in the east at a radio station.
It is complete with the ASSOCIATED PRESS sign on the front.

I have a test generator that will send 6 level RYs and Fox messages to
the machine but I will get tired of looking at test patterns.

What suggestions do you master electromechanical technocrats have for
feeding actual text into this old beauty?

Unlike the Models 14, 15, 19, 28, 32, & 42 that are five level ITA2
machines. These M20 machines operate with a six level code.

I thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Project number two will be to see if I can get any of these four ex-
Navy Model 42 ASRs working. Sadly none of them have a chad tube or a
chad box. These needed plastic parts are the same for 42s and 43s so
any leads would be appreciated.

I also have a M28 stand-alone ROTR with a three speed shifter. Sadly
it has a governed motor, so I am looking for a synch motor for it.

Lastly I will be cleaning and lubricating the complete LARP I picked
up in Valparaiso a short time ago. I have no idea what signal to feed
it with.
It is a multi-magnet perforator that punches tape at up to 600 wpm.

Your help and encouragement is alway appreciated.
