    Good choice -- I used their products for many years.  I would get a 
small brush, like the ones used for wood glue, and "paint" the top edge of 
the ribbon.  Don't use too much ink, and let it spread for a week or so. 
Should work fine.  As the ribbon moves through the cartridge it will even 
out further.
