Amen! And I could kick myself for not unplugging and boxing the tubes.
Naturally the one to break was the only one that's sorta scarce.
I still have the TT-1, CV-2 and another PP-86 if anyone is interested. And
as a minor point, the loudspeaker used isn't the LS-7 most would think it was
if they saw it but couldn't read the nameplate. It's the much scarcer LS-11
250 ohm input. Later models used the LS-590/U which looks like an LS-166/U but
has a PL-55 plug (actually PJ-055B) and is switchable 250/4000 and a handy
thing to have on the bench.
