Actually, this is true (bidder ID's hidden) only when the high bid goes above
a threshold. Below that they are all still visible. But it was done because
of 2nd Chance Offer fraud. I've had it pulled on me once so far.
Fortunately the 2nd high bidder contacted me direct and I told him to forward the
traffic to eBay. All of which merely proves that a small percentage of the human
race have always been worthless scum and the rest of us have to stay alert and
shoot them whenever we get the chance. In my experience scum are no more
prevalent on eBay than they are at your local hamfest or in your legislature.
You'll encounter them just about everywhere.
