If memory serves correct - Irv Hoff had published a small article in the 
RTTY JOURNAL using two 88 mh toriods plus resonating caps and a 741 op 
amp to achieve nice straight mark and space lines on a scope.  Still 
have that system in use here-

I am testing my autostart WRU on mark frequency of 3598.000  call is 
VE7BDQZW and drop your carrier -- for those close enough to give it a 
try.  Nothing fancy just keys the tx on here so you can get a check on 
propagation.
