When I use my Flesher TU's I get an almost perfect cross on the scope, but
when I use one of my two ST-6's or the ST'5 the cross is always at a slant.
Don't make any diffrence what I use for wire to connect to the scope. I use
just plain old lamp cord and it does just fine.
If using a receiver like my HRO you can change the cross pattern with the
VFO, but you guys using Jap or tiwan rice boxes can't do that.
I use a homebrew scope with a 7" scope tube so I have a pretty impressive
cross to watch.
Back in 74-75 when 850 shift was used the cross was almost always perfect,
but as I recall when I would work someone on the new fangled 170 shift, the
cross was at a slant. Seems that the narower the shift, the more slant to
the cross.
