Sam & Harvey,

By default, AOL and Compuserve (can?) send plain text email but always attach 
an html version.  There is no way to turn this attachment off.  QTH.net fixed 
the problem for most of us quite some time ago and simply strip off the 
attachment.  I've no idea how they did it but have had no problems since they did.

Since Harvey is having a problem that the rest of us don't have, the only 
thing I can think of to suggest is to open his AOL mail manager and go into 
preferences, font and text.  Be sure font is set to Arial, size to 10, foreground 
(text) color to black and background color to white.

If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what else to try.
