Another place to look for RTTY on 40M is right around 7.040 MHz. This
is where you will hear interesting RTTY DX. Some other areas of the
world are not permitted by Law from using 7.080 for RTTY, so you will
find DX at and around 7040. OM5TX, Slovak Republic and 8P9NX in
Barbados were on 40M RTTY last night around this frequency.
ZL7/KH0PR,a station on Chatham Island east of New Zealand, was on 40M
RTTY yesterday morning very early. I hear and work into South America,
Europe, Africa and parts of Asia on 40M in the last afternoon, just
before, during and right after dusk.

Got this note from Bob Del Gatto.....I'm going to start hanging out on
this freq in hopes of a QSO.
I'll be using the AN/UGC-74B so no pre tape just hand typing. I think I
can pre-load stuff into the 74B memory but, that'll take more reading
:>)
