[GreenKeys] Teletypes!

Hello all.  I found this group through a link in Wikipedia. 

I'm an aficionado of all things older and electronic, from computers to 
radios.  The other day I got to thinking that it would be inordinately 
cool to have a teletype set up in my house linked up to teletypes in 
other houses/offices.  Sure, I could use e-mail or the telephone or 
faxes to keep in touch, but there's something immediate about the 
clackityclack of news at your teleprinter.

Does anyone here know any way to make such a set up a reality in this 
day and age?
