I think that what makes the WECO solder flow so well is in the flux. The flux
sure smells good too.
I worked for WECO before the break up and every time I went into a C.O. I'd bag
any unguarded solder or lacing cord. My lacing cord supply is still OK, but I'm
down to 1/2 a roll of solder.
I usually use 2% silver that I got at the Lawrence Livermore Labs, Saturday lot
sale. Also years ago.
