Well, That's what I figured. So, it's not worth me trying to sell my old unit as I don't even know if it works anymore.
If there's anyone who's interested in having it, it is located in Nashville, TN at my parents house.  Free to anyone who wants to pick it up.

Machines these days are pretty low cost. Often it's a matter of  
*finding* one at all that's the issue (or at least one within 800  
miles of you).

Various interfaces show up on eBay and they also don't seem to cost a  
lot unless they are a top of the line unit.
