Yeah, backing Tesla. It was Tesla's patents that put Westinghouse into
Niagra Falls... Tesla himself supervised. While not totally
historically accurate - there are a couple of books on tesla that make
fascinating reading: "Wizard: The Life and Times of Nicola Tesla" by
Seifer - comes with a high recommendation by the American Academy for
the Advancement of Science; "Tesla: The Modern Sorcerer" by Stewart; and
guess while you're at it: "The Fantastic Inventions of Nikola Tesla"
Credited to Tesla with additions by David Hatcher. Things like his radio
remote controlled boat (or other vehicle) patented in 1898.
Much of today's technology we owe to Tesla... In spite of Edison's best
(worst) efforts against him.
