Speaking of Teletype model numbers, we have a Teletype M28 style perforator
at the AWA Museum, with a label on the back of the cover that says:
"Teletype Corporation Model 34/35".

When it first came in, I thought it was a little funny that it had two
model numbers, but I wasn't very familiar with the model numbers above "28"
at that time. Since then, I have learned that the M34 & M35 were upgraded
M28 page printers with Baudot & ASCII codes. This perforator only punches 5
level tape and is roughly the size, weight and looks of a M28 KSR
skin-tight. It has an ID plate inside that says "Code: LKPE 500BSF". It was
probably purchased in the early 1960s and came in with a M28ASR. Does
anyone know why this LKPE perf would have had a "Model 34/35" label???

Thanks & Have fun,
