GM, DENIZENS OF THE GREENKEY PIRACY GROUP ES ALL FORMER NAVAL AIR TYPES
--HI--
I sent an email last night wondering if anyone has a front cover for a
mite, because at some time in it's life (Maybe in a P3, the
radio dood beat the s**t out of it in sheer frustration to the cheers of
the rest of the crew) Anyhow, before I drill all the rivets out, and do
the bodywork thing, gently sand and repaint, and then try to locate the
proper size rivets ( can anyone help me out with said
rivets??????????).....
OK, if someone has a trash unit, with a non-bent front cover, name ur
price, and I will purchase same from you.... I would also be interested
in purchasing a gearset of the replacement speed change gears which used
to reside on the left side of said Mite, as I would
love to hear one beat it self to death at 100 Wpm ( I really don't care
about the 75 speed gear, and I have the 60 (45.45 baud gear)...
I just thought it might look good in my proposed radio shack which is
rapidly becoming eclectic in design, partially a shipboard radio space,
partially a JO stateroom, replete with a desk space, small safe, and
bunk to retire to when the XYL gets really mad, or I have to stand MARS
watches, and partially a P3 radio position ( or generic Navy
multi-engine radio position, maybe even with O2 outlet, interphone, etc
etc, maybe even an authentic seat, if I can find one, and the rest of
the space to be a accurate representation of an Ship's radio room, since
I have a whole bunch of "stuff" which was supposed to be used to restore
the comm spaces on the USS America
(CVA/CV-66) of which I am Preservation Officer of the museum
foundation. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure her as a museum
ship, and she was sunk for tests last year, but my basement overfloeth
with BA's (not too shabby, eh??)...... OK. if you have
a replacement front cover, or replacement rivets, lemme know what you
want for them, and the money will be forthcoming in the method of your
choice ( paper bags dropped in trash receptacle at midnight, paypal, etc
etc --hi--)...... Since attachments will get kicked off of this list, I
have posted pix of what I am interested in on my website ( better known
as the "black memory hole"
the URL is http://www.moorefelines.com/mitecover
I await your hopefully affirmative reply, fone, fax, email, carrier
pidgeon, uav, etc etc........... tnx much
