Most of the time on TV or movies, the guy is "tapping out" morse  
code.  If you aren't a ham or telegraph collector, what else would  
the average Joe think?

(Barring "proper" item research, like you-know-who and the $999 M.14

Didn't see Morris in there anywhere, so they either corrected their  
spelling or fed the cat some Little Friskies or something.
