Gently remove the rubber "protector" on the print hammer and ship to Don
House who needs a model for fabrication of a new supply. Be gentile on
removing. Do not try and operate with the current "protector" or without a
protector as you will beat the type wheel characters flat.

Subject: [GreenKeys] asr33

I've just scored a Teletype ASR33 in mint condition from a ham who will
deliver it all for free. He says the machine was never commercially used and
instead was intended for a project that became technically outmoded. He
says all the manuals are with the machine but I have no experience with
either a 32 or 33 other than the knowledge that the 33 could be used a as
computer peripheral and operates in ASCII instead of Baudot code. My
experience is with 15s, 19s, & some 28s.

I hope the group won't object if I ask for some what appears basic help if I
have a problem.
