Young & idealistic Mr Hachtmann's posting will probably only serve to stir
up more of the very messages he decries. Perhaps he is more naive than his
posting reveals, or perhaps he was intentionally trolling for flames. 

I will only rise to the bait so far as to add: The events of history need
rememberance & reconsideration lest the more unfortunate ones be repeated.
The reminders we maintain may seem to some as unpleasant as the events they
recall. Perhaps that is as it should be.

And there is some OT TTY stuff in this post: I have a fat NAVSHIPS 91239
pub., "TELETYPE PRINTING TELEGRAPH EQUIPMENT". I can't yet bring myself to
part with it but perhaps I can help someone with some page copies somtime.
