The book Siddartha, by Hermann Hesse, tells of sitting by the river and 
watching it flow by. Having old teletype machines chugging away is like 
that for some of us.  Faster is not better. Smaller is not 
better.  Disposable is not better.  Wonderful machines being well-oiled and 
adjusted, and lasting a very long time is better.

Long live the 45.5 baud!
