Back in the 70's sometime i bought a PC board and artwork for a "RTTY Monitor Receiver" from ABC Communications up in Seattle. I just found this package the other day while going though some boxes. Seems that the fellow who did it had sight impairment. Call sign was K7WTO. I don't even remember what it was all about, separate monitor for rtty sig's is about all i can recall. Anyway the board and artwork is till here in it's original package if anyone has the information or interested in it.
2ndly, i found 3 Bell System manuals for the Model 43 teleprinter. One is a "How to operate" and the other two are Service manuals. Both for the 43 but have different manual numbers on them. Is there anyone still interested in these? They are in like new condition. $25 for the set of 3.
I also uncovered a bunch of Teletype paperwork.
28 Teletypewriter test jacks, electrical wiring.
2 ea. sheets showing the keytops, actual characters, TTY part number and code for each when depressed, ie, Q= 123-5.

Actual wiring diagram Model 28 transmitter distributer LXD 4, 5, 9, 13, 15, 18, LXD 601, 602, 800, 801, 802.
I also have a reprint sheet from possibly RTTY mag called "Cheap and DIrty" conversion of Military 28 machines. These machines, apparently Mark III types had gearsets for the Navy 107 WPM circuits. This explains what the gear sets are and which ones to changeout. Gear numbers along with what the code was, ie, 7.42, 7.50 or 7.00, baud rate, shaft rpm, gear sets and other stuff. Also attached is an article called "Modified CW message Generator using a 555 timer chip. Oh yes, this is from November 1974 RTTy mag. 2 copies of this
I don't know if on the RTTY web page for W6FFC stuff if they have the page 4 (whats the rest of the pages from?) entitled "Baudot Character Lengths". Interesting chart. got this off of one of Irv's transmissions in 1976. good information.
And lastly, from one of the pages of the old Bell System Practices long ago i made a copy of a page that identifies the different gears and gear sets for the 28, keyboard, TS's, Dual TD's, Reperforators, ASR gear sets for single or dual TD's, Single TD base and the LAK keyboard (motor speed 3000 rpm). I can make copies of this if more than one is needed.
I'll need to be reimbursed for postage on these items. Only going to make copies of what i said i would which is the gear sets paperwork. Everything else is postage + $3 per item you want. When and if you respond, I need your address or just flat add in $1.50 for postage on a per item basis. if your going to take the whole package, i'll get you a rate from the post office for the amount of weight that's there. Sometimes i throw in other paperwork that goes with the subject material. Just cause.
